Greentech Housing Company's goal is to be the preeminent name in modular housing industry now and for years to come.

We accept the challenge of changing the way modular houses are designed, built and marketed.

PEOPLE AND IDEAS ARE OUR STRENGTHS
  Greentech Housing Company was founded in 1998 by Stephen Stuntz, a known name in the manufactured housing industry and long involved in the advancement of energy-efficient housing. The team Stephen Stuntz has put together is an uncommonly strong mixture of talents and experience.

 

 
OUR BUSINESS MODEL
 

Greentech Housing Company brings new ideas of how modular houses should be designed, built and marketed. We are the first company to offer all of the following::

  • a differentiated, "brand-able" product-- the EcoDynamic™ House
  • state-of-the-art manufacturing carried out in inner-city factories, utilizing 100% union labor
  • a comprehensive marketing effort aimed at supporting the developers who are our customers
  • in depth customer support including custom design, and close-at-hand field and technical support.
  • a company with a commitment to quality and integrity, and whose suppliers and allies are tops in their fields
   
KEY PLAYERS
  Stephen Stuntz, President
  Former president, Acorn Structures (today merged with Deck House), with sales under his leadership of $12-million annually. A cofounder of the Hickory Consortium (a member of the Building America Program) a Cambridge, MA non-profit organization that receives grants for pursuing new ideas and directions in sustainable and energy-efficient housing. A graduate of MIT and Harvard Business School.
   
  George White, Marketing and Sales Director
  Founder in 1979 of the consulting firm, G.H. White, Inc. Providence, RI, a marketing communications company with extensive experience across numerous industries including residential housing, financial services and media and publishing A graduate of Amherst College.
   
  Robert MacDonald, Operations Director
  A career professional in the development of technology-based manufacturing methods. Broadly experienced in R&D for such companies as Honeywell, Natural Power, Inc., American Power Corporation, and more. A graduate of MIT and the Harvard Business School.
   
  Mark Kelly, Sustainability Engineer
  Energy engineering specialist and CO-developer of the EcoDynamic™ House. Founder of Building Science Engineering, a consulting firm based in Harvard, MA. Extensive experience in projects ranging from Solar Energy, US Dept. of Energy’s "Building America Program", Buildings for a Sustainable America, and the Cambridge Sustainable Demonstration Project, among many others.
